Stretch and Strengthen With Hatha Yoga
Why is stretching so important? Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy.  We need flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints. Without regular stretching muscles shorten and become tight.  This puts you at risk for joint pain, strains and muscle damage.  Healthy muscles also help a person with balance problems to avoid falls.  This 60 minute class can improve your life.  Class involves a mixed blend of movements designed to create strength and flexibility in the body.  Hatha Yoga positions are used to  focus on alignment to balance the muscles which allows you to become stronger and increase your range of motion.   Bring a mat and your water. Instructor: Julie Meyer  Must have 7 students for class to be offered.

Chair Yoga

Chair yoga is suitable for those with limited mobility and have difficulty getting up and down from the floor.  Participants will learn many kinds of yoga poses with the support of a chair.  Increase your flexibility, strength, and balance with chair yoga. Instructor: Julie Meyer
